Service terms
Understand TAC’s role, what you are purchasing, and which enrollment, payment and withdrawal terms apply.
Last updated October 12, 2026
1. TAC’s role and your request
The Athletic Collegiate LLC (“TAC”) coordinates student sports, academic enrollment support, Student Discovery and the local Student-Athlete Academy. TAC is not the school of record and does not issue school grades, transcripts or diplomas. A named partner school provides those academic services.
Inquiry forms are for adults age 18 or older acting for themselves or with authority for the student. You are responsible for providing accurate information and updating material changes. An inquiry or consultation request is not enrollment, a reserved place, a participation waiver or permission to charge a payment method. TAC confirms availability, service scope and the applicable written offer before enrollment. A specific accepted enrollment agreement governs its service and does not change merely because this website is updated. These terms do not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
2. Student Athlete Access memberships
Student Athlete Access: $200 per student per month for one standard program. Student Athlete Access Plus: $400 per student per month for two standard programs or one expanded program for the same student. Student Athlete Access serves ages 8–18. Age groups, coaching level, listed sessions and schedule vary by program and are confirmed before payment.
- Included: the selected program’s listed coaching, required student facility access and waived partner registration fees. Personal uniforms, equipment, optional family memberships and services beyond the confirmed program are separate.
- Each membership belongs to one student. Programs and unused sessions cannot be shared between siblings, transferred or carried into another month.
- Life Time group tennis and basketball memberships include group coaching only. Additional tennis group classes are $50 per class. Separate private tennis or basketball memberships include four 60-minute lessons for $400/month, with extra lessons at $100 each. Additional private lessons are also 60 minutes. Appointments and added group classes require confirmation.
- Providers deliver the coaching. TAC coordinates enrollment and the family’s selected programs. Seasonal/select-team placement and any special provider requirements must be confirmed.
3. Recurring billing, changes and cancellation
Before you authorize checkout, your offer identifies the student, selected services, first charge, start date, monthly total, renewal date and material conditions. Building a family plan does not authorize payment. New Student Athlete Access renewals normally occur on the 1st; a first month starting at the next available class may be prorated as shown in the offer. Existing subscriptions retain their disclosed dates unless a change is agreed.
Cancel the intended student’s membership before the next billing date to stop its next renewal. There is no cancellation fee. Access continues through the paid period and processed monthly charges are nonrefundable, subject to applicable law and the service-cancellation provisions below. Use the cancellation control supplied with your family plan, or email admin@theathleticcollegiate.com identifying the student and membership. Do not send card details. TAC confirms the effective date.
Contact TAC before the next monthly cycle to change programs or membership level. The new schedule and price must be confirmed. Cancelling one TAC service does not automatically cancel a separate school enrollment or independently purchased facility membership. Price changes receive 30 days’ notice before taking effect.
4. Student-Athlete Academy
The Academy serves grades 3–7 at Life Time Frisco, in groups for grades 3–5 and 6–7. Enrollment is open for the January 13, 2027 start, subject to the written offer and placement. Campus days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 7:45 AM–1:30 PM. Tuesday and Thursday are parent-supervised home-learning days supported by Laurel Springs’ academic services.
January 13, 2027 entry (5 months): $12,750 for grades 3–5 or $13,750 for grades 6–7. Full school year (10 months): Grades 3–5: $25,500; Grades 6–7: $27,500. Registration is $500 per student and nonrefundable. Included Laurel Springs tuition is paid upfront unless otherwise agreed in writing; the school amount and TAC service payment schedule are itemized within your package.
Exact monthly payment amounts are reviewed during the in-person enrollment consultation and confirmed in a written payment schedule before enrollment. The offer identifies the calendar, school tuition allocation, TAC services, start date, staffing and placement. The package includes its specified Laurel Springs enrollment, on-site support, athletic development, scheduled tennis, campus-day lunch and required student access.
Monthly TAC service payments
The monthly TAC plan has an initial three-service-month commitment, followed by monthly enrollment for the remaining program months. Your written offer identifies those first three months and the earliest withdrawal date. You may give notice at any time, but payments remain due through the initial commitment. Email admin@theathleticcollegiate.com by the 15th of the current month (Central Time) to stop the next month’s billing once that commitment is complete. Notice received after the 15th stops billing one month later. Monthly payments already processed are nonrefundable.
Prepaid TAC services
Prepaid TAC services remain committed through the current school-year quarter. Unused future quarters of TAC services are refundable; the current quarter is not prorated by day or month. Your written offer lists the quarter dates and TAC amounts separately from Laurel Springs tuition.
School tuition and registration
Laurel Springs tuition is included in the package and paid upfront unless a different arrangement is agreed in writing. Withdrawal and any school refund follow the school’s own enrollment agreement. Leaving TAC does not automatically withdraw your student from Laurel Springs.
The $500 Academy registration fee is nonrefundable. A verified paid Discovery credit can cover that fee for the assessed student. Unused Discovery enrollment credit has no cash refund if you choose not to enroll; the assessment, report and planning services are what the Discovery purchase provides.
5. Private online school enrollment
Laurel Springs School and Texas Sports Academy are independent academic providers. Each school controls admission, curriculum, instruction, assessment, grading, records, tuition, withdrawal and refund decisions. Standalone school tuition is separate from TAC services. The local Academy package includes only the specified Laurel Springs enrollment in its written offer.
TAC helps families understand school options and coordinate enrollment at no enrollment-service charge. TSA tuition is $10,400 per school year, with its school enrollment fee waived when the family enrolls through TAC. Approved TEFA funds may cover tuition for an awarded student with sufficient funds; awards are not automatic and 2026–27 applications are closed. Laurel Springs confirms its own tuition and enrollment fees. Student Athlete Access, the local Academy and Student Discovery are separate choices; requesting standalone school support does not purchase them. TAC may receive compensation for qualifying Laurel Springs enrollments referred through us.
Accreditation belongs to the named school, not TAC. NCAA approval applies to qualifying courses and individual eligibility requirements; it is not a guarantee of admission, NCAA clearance, scholarships or recruitment. School results and university destinations shown on this site describe the named school’s students, not TAC outcomes.
6. Student Discovery Experience
Student Discovery is a one-time $500 purchase per selected student. It includes math and ELA achievement assessments, a review of learning/study habits and family goals, a written report and personalized plan, two coordinated sports trial sessions and a follow-up call. Assessments, planning, trials and follow-up occur across separate appointments. Provider placement and appointment availability are confirmed with the family.
Achievement scores and comparisons help inform learning recommendations; they do not diagnose a medical condition or learning disability, certify an exact instructional grade, or guarantee a school placement or outcome. The current assessment pathway uses NWEA MAP Growth for eligible independent homeschool students. School-enrolled students require eligibility review before purchase; public-school students are not eligible through this assessment pathway. The assessment provider administers the tests; a parent or authorized adult supervises the student. Provider testing notices and permissions are supplied before testing. Academic score reports are typically available within 1–2 days; TAC’s complete recommendation follows the assessments, family planning and sports trials.
For the assessed student, choose one enrollment credit: $500 covers the Academy registration fee; up to $500 toward the selected private online school’s confirmed registration fee; or $200 toward the first Student Athlete Access month. Standard Student Athlete Access: first month covered; Plus: $200 off its $400 first month. Share your paid Discovery confirmation reference with TAC before enrolling. TAC verifies the purchase and confirms the credit in the written enrollment offer. Academy registration is nonrefundable. Unused enrollment credit cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded if you do not enroll.
The enrollment-credit rule does not itself establish a refund policy for an unused Discovery service. For a cancellation, rescheduling or refund request, email admin@theathleticcollegiate.com. For assessment appointments, contact TAC at least 24 hours before the scheduled test to request cancellation. Late illness or emergency changes are subject to provider rescheduling availability. This assessment appointment policy does not establish a refund amount for the full $500 TAC package. Applicable package cancellation, rescheduling and refund terms must be reviewed before payment; statutory rights remain unaffected. Ongoing tutoring, sports memberships, school tuition and specialist diagnostic testing are separate.
7. Attendance, weather and service changes
Memberships reserve scheduled program access rather than charging for sessions attended. Family absences do not create automatic refunds or rollover. Make-up sessions depend on the provider’s policy and availability; contact TAC for help.
Schedules, coaches, staffing, facilities, availability and program offerings may change because of weather, safety, staffing needs or partner operations. TAC communicates material changes as soon as practicable, with advance notice when possible, and explains available alternatives. Confirmed enrollment agreements govern charges, cancellations, credits and refunds; a website update does not retroactively change those agreements. The price-change notice in Section 3 still applies.
Outdoor Academy court activities do not proceed in extreme heat, extreme cold or rain. When available, a coach may guide indoor basketball-court training or athletic development. If TAC or a provider cancels a scheduled session, TAC coordinates a make-up or appropriate credit under the confirmed service terms. If TAC discontinues a paid program mid-cycle, the unused portion is refunded.
8. Participation and safeguarding
Athletic participation involves inherent risks, including potentially serious injury from physical exertion, falls, collisions, equipment or weather. Before participation, families must complete the applicable TAC and provider participation documents and review facility rules. Through the designated enrollment process, provide accurate emergency contacts, authorized pickup details and relevant health, allergy or accommodation information; keep those details current. Do not put medical records or detailed diagnoses in general inquiry forms.
Specific emergency-treatment permissions and any participation releases are separate documents. A website inquiry or privacy acknowledgment does not replace them or authorize emergency medical treatment. Families and providers must follow the confirmed supervision, pickup, safety and conduct procedures. A serious safety concern may require participation to stop while reviewed; financial decisions follow the enrollment agreement and applicable law. These website terms do not release a minor’s claims or exclude liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Education funding and the TSA benefit
TEFA eligibility, awards, approved expenses and timing are decided by the state program, not TAC. Funding is not guaranteed and a TAC service is not automatically an approved expense. Review current information at the state’s family guidance.
The TSA partnership is a separate school benefit: eligible enrolled and authorized students may receive Student Athlete Access Plus with $0 parent payment for the base membership. Applying alone does not activate it. Extra classes and lessons are separate parent-paid requests. School tuition and TEFA funding remain separate; the student’s payer and any family balance are confirmed before enrollment.
10. Communication and privacy
Required phone and email details let TAC respond to your inquiry and coordinate chosen services. They do not enroll you in automated marketing calls or texts. Optional marketing permission is separate from service contact. Data use, school-introduction permission, browser storage and privacy requests are explained in the Privacy & Cookies Policy.
11. Photos, content and partner names
Submitting a form or enrolling does not grant TAC promotional permission to use a student’s image. Promotional student photography and testimonials require a separate appropriate authorization. School/provider media is attributed to its source and does not represent a TAC testimonial unless expressly identified as one.
TAC and its licensors retain rights in their respective site content. Partner and university names or logos identify the organizations discussed; they do not imply a university endorses TAC. Report a content or copyright concern to admin@theathleticcollegiate.com with the relevant page and details.
12. Questions, concerns and updates
Contact The Athletic Collegiate LLC at admin@theathleticcollegiate.com or 469-635-0909 for service or billing concerns. Nothing here restricts a lawful payment dispute or complaint to an appropriate authority. Separate, accepted enrollment agreements may contain additional terms; review them before signing.
Updated website terms are dated above. Material changes to an existing paid service require the notice or agreement applicable to that service; posting new text does not retroactively replace a signed agreement.
